Oh Wow! Haha, I remember working on this game. It was my first "real" 3D game using the GPU. Astro3D was all software and used scaled sprites. I learned a lot about making these games. Gosh, it has been over 20+ years since I made them. Thanks for preserving in video.

When I made FreeStrike (almost 20 years ago), I did not get a chance to finish it. Many things were going at the time (9/11, life changes, etc). Time escaped me so I had to rush it to market. So, I want to do it some justice.

Yes, AstroCrisis will still happen. I decided to do FreeStrike first because I never got a chance to do a proper follow-up version adding the things I did not have the opportunity to do with the first version. So I figured I would do that because I still have all the art, sound and music for it. Thus, the plan at the moment is to finish and release a proper version of FreeStrike and then AstroCrisis at a later time.

Hi James, Good to hear from you. I hope all is well. Yes, I will release my game projects under TBG label. I finally got some technical issues resolved with my game engine. Some things I've been wanting to get in for a long time but had not because of various technical problems, lack of knowledge, limited time, life, etc. I'd say, I now have 98% of all the features in place that I can soon realize my original vision. It is a very different time now then it was back then of course. Many things are so much easier now, but the competition has increased exponentially. All the more reason to be more creative and think differently. Again, good to hear from you, my friend. I will be in touch.
